In cancer care, time is of the essence—patients need a prompt, accurate diagnosis and a clear path to the most appropriate treatment without unnecessary delay. SOLVDDX is developing a patient-specific oncology platform designed to begin at diagnosis—preserving viable tissue with non-formalin reagents.
Traditional tissue handling can close the door on functional testing before treatment decisions even begin. SOLVDDX is designed around non-formalin specimen collection that protects tissue architecture while preserving viable cells for live-tumor analysis. Pathology confirms the disease before functional testing; its findings are then integrated with functional drug response, next-generation sequencing, pharmacogenomics and clinical evidence to help physicians evaluate how the tumor may respond and how the patient may process therapy.
Treatment is selected using population evidence, biomarkers, guidelines and prior experience.
Functional testing adds patient-specific response information and integrates it with molecular and clinical evidence.
Fresh tissue is collected in specialized non-formalin media from one coordinated specimen pathway. Confirmed pathology diagnosis establishes the foundation for subsequent functional testing and informed therapy-management decisions. SOLVDDX is being built as a clinical decision platform—not simply a chemosensitivity assay.
Designed to rank clinically relevant options using live tumor response, regimen testing, drug exposure, molecular concordance and clinical evidence.
Designed to separately communicate the reliability and strength of the evidence supporting each recommendation.
Conceptual interface — illustrative only. Not clinical results.
SOLVDDX's initial development focus is pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC), with prospective clinical validation and expansion contemplated across additional solid tumors.
Evaluate patient-specific response to selected agents and clinically relevant combinations.
Reconcile multiple evidence types rather than relying on a single biomarker or assay.
Separate treatment suitability from confidence and generate a traceable physician-facing rationale.
Each completed case can contribute to a proprietary longitudinal dataset linking tumor biology, molecular profile, functional response, treatment choice and clinical outcome.
Patient-specific functional oncology services.
Drug development, biomarker work and combination screening.
Potential patient-selection and response-prediction applications.
Longitudinal response/outcome datasets and predictive-model development.

Because patients may not get unlimited chances to find the therapy that works. SOLVDDX is developing a functional precision oncology platform intended to complement—not replace—oncologists, clinical guidelines, molecular profiling and clinical judgment.
